NOVA Exhibition: “06:29 – The Moment the Music Stopped”
The NOVA exhibition, “06:29 – The Moment the Music Stopped,” is a powerful installation that serves as a living memorial to the brutal massacre that took place at the Nova Festival during the October 7th attack.
The exhibition was first launched at Expo Tel Aviv, just two months after the tragic events. Following a 10-week run in Tel Aviv, it was expanded into a large-scale production and taken abroad to serve as a chilling reminder of what happened at the festival in the Negev.
In April 2024, the exhibition opened on Wall Street, in the heart of Manhattan, and has since traveled to Los Angeles, Miami, and Toronto. It has become a groundbreaking and influential component of Israeli public diplomacy, shaping international awareness in the wake of the terror attack.
The installation reconstructs the festival grounds using authentic objects collected shortly after the events — including burned cars, bullet-riddled portable toilets, abandoned camping tents with personal belongings inside, and the possessions of those murdered or kidnapped. Alongside these are gripping visual media: survivor testimonies, videos, and images capturing the horror.
Beyond documentation and reconstruction, the exhibition emphasizes the spiritual essence of the Nova community and the emotional and therapeutic needs of its survivors. The visit ends with a clear and powerful message:
WE WILL DANCE AGAIN.
At Breeze Creative, we are proud to have led the exhibition’s planning, design, and the production of its media and visual communication content.
